RECRUIT A KIDNEY

Trying to save lives one kidney at a time

Meet Debra Gampel

Kind, Caring,Thoughtful

Over 4 years ago Debra lost both of her kidney’s due to a rare disease called Amyloidosis.
Though the disease is in remission, her kidneys are destroyed. The only way Debra can survive is to be
tethered to a dialysis machine several hours a day, 3 times a week. Sadly, this grueling process is
debilitating.  On top of that, the complications have led to other issues including currently being blind in her right eye as she tries to recover from a separated retina.

Debra is an embodiment of kindness, a beacon of love, and a symbol of selflessness. She's a doting mother, a supportive sister, a devoted wife, and a loving grandmother. Debra's life is a story of giving and caring, leaving warmth and comfort in the hearts of all those around her. Yet today, this amazing woman is in a dire situation.

When you donate in Debra's name if you are not a match your kidney will go to someone else and Debra will be at the top of the list for the next match.

It's our turn now to give back to Debra, the woman who has spent her life giving so much to others. Your help, whether through sharing her story, advocating for organ donation, or learning about donating yourself could mean that Debra gets to live.

Our goal is to get a kidney for Debra and if we are successful leverage this platform to help the next person.
